The Arkansas SCBWI Conference is June 21-22, 2019 in Central Arkansas. NOTE: The conference location has changed for Saturday. It is at the Holiday Inn Little Rock – Airport – Conference Center, 3201 Bankhead Dr, Little Rock, AR 72206. The storms caused us to lose our other location, and I was able to secure a last minute replacement.

Conference faculty includes Christa Heschke, literary agent at McIntosh and Otis, Inc.; Courtney Stevenson, assistant editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books; and Charlotte Wenger, freelance editor.

The conference will offer dinner, genre meetings and pitch sessions on June 21 (North Little Rock Community Center, North Little Rock). Conference sessions, lunch and critiques are on June 22 (Holiday Inn Little Rock – Airport – Conference Center, 3201 Bankhead Dr, Little Rock, AR 72206.).

Registration is online with the option to pay online through PayPal or by check. You will select your registration and any optional extras in the registration area below and checkout there. *Note: Errors are possible with this system, so please be patient with any errors. Manuscript and Portfolio consultations are available to SCBWI members. Pitch sessions are open to all attendees. Spots are limited. If there are any remaining spots, they will be available at the door on June 21.

The last day to pay by check is June 5 (postmark). Registration via PayPal (credit card) closes on June 15. After these dates, registration is available at the door only on June 21 (at an increased price).
